Halloween spirit invades ADH dance party
Last Thursday’s Adult Day Health Zoom dance party was so much fun it was almost scary.
From Batman and Superman to Snow White and Medusa, the characters just kept coming as Full Life clients and staff dressed up to show their Halloween spirit.
Iesha Gizaw DJs a weekly online dance party every Thursday afternoon. This time, she played horror hits like Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” Bobby “Boris” Pickett’s “Monster Mash,” the theme from the movie “Ghostbusters” and the theme from the TV show “The Addams Family.”
More than 50 clients and staff attended Thursday’s special Halloween get-together.
The dance party is just one of an extensive roster of monthly video gatherings Adult Day Health staff have created to keep clients engaged and active since the COVID-19 pandemic closed Day Health centers in March. Other activities include trivia contests, seated yoga sessions, mind games and exercise sessions, to name a few.
