Love Notes to ElderFriends and Care Teams

February 27, 2026

ElderFriends and Care Teams participants and volunteers gathered for the programs’ annual Winterfest party this Valentine’s Day at Full Life Care’s Beacon Hill headquarters.

Energized by collaborative games (a word search and Name That Tune), and a full feast (a nacho and taco bar, mocktails, and cookie decorating), elders and volunteers also opened their hearts to write “Love Notes to ElderFriends and Care Teams. Here’s what some had to share:

  • I love the warmth and welcoming hearts of all the people in the program.
  • Staff are always smiling, and give me a good feeling. I feel they care!
  • They care by dedicating a lot of time to change the lives of elders.
  • I’ve been coming to almost every event for about 20 years. So much fun every time.
  • I love socializing and sharing.
  • I love the happiness that results when elders and volunteers become friends.
  • I’m looking forward to experiencing more fun, good chats, and yummy food in the future.

Heartfelt thanks to all who helped make this celebration a success, including volunteers from Full Life Care’s Volunteer Programs and Services Social Committee, the Woodinville High School Robotics team, Velocity Raptors, and dozens of card makers who handcrafted valentines for the occasion.
