Adult Day Health adapts to ‘new normal’
Innovation and creative thinking keep the services coming for clients
The COVID-19 pandemic drastically impacted our Adult Day Health program, forcing closure of all three centers in Everett, Columbia City and Kent. Yet, Full Life Care has persevered. We never give up on people.
Staff have been keeping in touch with clients using a combination of online and phone communications. From phone calls and video check-ins to monthly video group discussion sessions including Full Life Video Dance Parties!
Occupational therapists at the Everett Day Health Center even produced a series of online exercise videos that follow the same routine clients would undergo were they attending the Day Health centers.
